Lazydrape Performance Settings

Fruit per node and average fruit weight are key drivers of Lazydrape’s yield potential. Adjust these values to explore different production scenarios and their impact on projected yields.
Fruit per Node - Quick Select
Lazydrape ascentLazydrape ascent is the vertical distance the rig can travel, not the total greenhouse height. As a guide, a 6 m greenhouse gutter allows approximately 5 m of ascent. Taller greenhouses allow more fruiting nodes per crop with fewer annual crop cycles. The model calculates both automatically, including crop changeover time.

How yields are calculated

Lazydrape's projected yields are calculated from the number of stems per rig, average fruiting nodes per metre of stem, fruit per node, and average fruit weight. The model assumes 60% greenhouse floor utilisation and 10% crop attrition.

Internode spacing7 cm
Stem extension6.5 cm/day

Short-cucumber working assumptions, retained from the existing model.
